Chocolate Chip Pizookie
How to make a Chocolate Chip Pazookie served in a cast iron skillet.

- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate
- vanilla ice cream (optional topping)
Preheat oven to 350°. Take the melted butter and add to a medium sized mixing bowl. Add in the brown sugar, and wisk until evenly combined. To this mixture, add in the vanilla extract and 1 egg and wisk until evenly incorporated. Next, in the same bowl, add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until combined. Finally, fold in the chocolate chips.
Grease the skillet with your desired method (butter, sprays, etc.) and spread batter evenly in skillet. Bake for 22-24 minutes, or until lightly browned around the edges.
Serve with your favorite ice cream on top!
